Pre-Marital & Arranged-Marriage Counselling

Understand yourself and each other before you build a life together.

Getting ready for a wedding happens on the outside. Getting ready for a marriage happens on the inside — and it often gets far less time, especially when introductions move quickly. Pre-marital counselling gives that inner preparation the space it deserves, so you step into married life understanding yourself, your partner, and the life you are shaping together.

The work begins with you: your values, your hopes, the patterns you carry from the family that raised you, and the life you actually want. From there it turns toward the two of you together.

About Our Service

1

Who we sit with

Engaged couples, and those meeting through arranged or semi-arranged introductions. We hold the particular shape of marriage here with care — compressed timelines, two families joining alongside two individuals, and expectations that deserve open conversation rather than assumption.

2

What it's like

A small number of warm, guided sessions, paced to fit the timelines arranged introductions often involve. We move through self-understanding first, then wants and values, then understanding your partner, then shaping a shared life. Nothing needs to be resolved perfectly — the value is in having the conversations openly, early, with someone to help them stay useful.

3

What we help with

Knowing your own values and hopes before you share them, talking honestly about family and joint-family dynamics, money as a values conversation, children and the future, how you each handle disagreement, and building a clear, shared picture of the marriage you are creating.
