Service Description

Achintya is a counselling psychologist and relationship counsellor. Known for her warm presence, clear communication, and signature dark lipsticks, she creates a space that feels both grounding and gently explorative. With a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, 500+ counselling hours, and formal training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1–3), her work is rooted in evidence-based approaches while still making room for nuance, individuality, and the messiness of being human. With couples, her focus shifts to the relational space - helping partners navigate communication breakdowns, recurring conflicts, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, and the complexities of intimacy. Drawing from the Gottman framework, she supports couples without bias in understanding each other more deeply, strengthening emotional bonds, and moving toward healthier, more intentional ways of relating. Across both individual and couples work, Achintya’s approach remains thoughtful, non-judgmental, and paced with care. She believes growth doesn’t always come from having clear answers, but from allowing space for uncertainty - gently learning how to sit with it, and finding meaning along the way.
