Taking therapy for the first time can be hard. There’s doubt, uncertainty and confusion: Can this really help? Can I trust a stranger? Do I really want to do this? We’re here to make the process as easy as possible for you. Taking a preliminary session can help. We value confidentiality and data privacy. You and your information are safe with us! And no, we don’t have crystal balls — just a deep commitment to listening and guiding. Introducing Snigdha, a trainee therapist pursuing her Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Christ University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Madras School of Social Work. Her work is rooted in trauma-informed and queer-affirmative principles. Fluent in English, Tamil and Telugu, she has 200+ hours of counselling experience with children and young adults, and looks forward to growing professionally, alongside her clients. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, and process oriented– “even your hesitation to come to therapy, has a space in therapy. So let’s talk about it!” She predominantly practices Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and also brings curiosity to how the people, relationships and the larger context that you are a part of, have influenced who you are today. She has experience working with concerns of anxiety, emotional overwhelm, academic concerns, trauma and other interpersonal struggles.
