Taking therapy for the first time can feel overwhelming. You may have questions like: Can this really help? Will I feel safe here? That’s completely normal. A preliminary session can help you get a feel for the process. I value confidentiality and data privacy—you and your information are always safe here. No crystal balls, just an open, supportive space and a commitment to listening with care. Introducing Swetha R – B.Sc. in Psychology (Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College, Chennai) and M.Sc. in Counselling Psychology (Madras School of Social Work, Chennai). Swetha’s learning is strengthened by specialized training in: Currently pursuing certification at the Trauma Research Foundation Premarital & Marital Therapy (2025) Learning Disabilities (2024) Transactional Analysis (TA 101) (2024) Psychosocial Rehabilitation – SCARF (2023) Research Internship – SCARF (2023) NPTEL Course on Emotional Intelligence (2023) Swetha has completed over 150 hours of one-on-one counselling and brings with her nearly a year of direct clinical experience. Her exposure includes working at Shadithya Psychiatric Hospital and V-Excel Educational Trust, where she supported individuals with diverse psychological concerns, facilitated psychoeducation groups, and refined essential therapeutic skills through both individual and group work. --- Note from Swetha, your therapist: "You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
