As a counselling psychologist, I offer counselling and guidance to parents on child development, behaviour, emotional well-being, and family dynamics. I believe that every child and family is unique, and each session is an opportunity to understand the individual experiences, concerns, and relationships that shape the family. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and family-centered. I work closely with parents to understand what may be happening beneath the surface of a child’s behaviour, while also considering the family environment, communication patterns, developmental needs, and everyday challenges. Rather than focusing only on the problem, I aim to help parents understand their child better and develop practical ways to respond with greater awareness, consistency, and empathy. I bring together psychological knowledge, clinical understanding, and practical parenting strategies to help families navigate concerns related to child development, behaviour, communication, emotional regulation, relationships, and parenting. The guidance provided may vary according to the needs of the child and family, with a focus on building healthier interactions and stronger relationships at home. I believe that supporting a child also means supporting the parent. Parenting can come with uncertainty, stress, and many questions, and counselling can provide a safe and non-judgmental space to reflect, understand, and work through these challenges. My aim is to empower parents with greater confidence, understanding, and practical tools to support their child's overall development and well-being.
