Meet Snehaa: A Therapist Who Reminds You That You Are Not Alone in What You Feel

If you have ever sat with a worry and thought you were the only person in the world who felt this way, Shenaa is the kind of person you want in the room. Warm and unhurried, she has a gift for making people feel a little less strange to themselves, and a little less alone.

She lets you ease in at your own pace

Shenaa pays attention to how you settle into a conversation. Some people arrive ready to share everything the moment they walk in. Others prefer to wait, to watch, to see what she will open with first. She finds both genuinely interesting, and she never rushes you from one to the other. She notices what feels easy for you to say, and what takes a little more time, and she lets you move at whatever pace is actually yours. There is no right way to begin with her. There is only your way.

What you are feeling is more normal than you think

One of the things clients are most surprised to hear from Shenaa is that what they are experiencing is, quite often, completely normal. People frequently arrive convinced they are the only one who thinks, feels or reacts the way they do, as though something about them is unusual or broken. She gently reminds them otherwise. We are all human. We all carry emotions, contradictions and complicated experiences, and not one of us has it all figured out. Your particular story is your own, of course, but the feeling underneath it is very often shared by far more people than you would ever guess. There is enormous relief in that, and Shenaa knows exactly how to offer it.

Relationships are not meant to be 50/50

Ask Shenaa what people tend to get wrong about relationships, and she points straight to the idea that they should always be 50/50. She does not think relationships work that way. There will be days when one person has more to give, and days when the other does. Sometimes one of you makes the compromise, and sometimes the other. What matters is not splitting everything down the middle, but making sure neither person ends up the all-time giver or the all-time receiver. A good relationship, to her, is about understanding those changing dynamics, and figuring out together how each of you can keep showing up for the other, through seasons where the balance naturally shifts.

Shenaa brings that same steadiness to everyone who sits with her: a sense that you are human, that you are not alone in what you feel, and that there is room here to be exactly as you are. If that sounds like the kind of space you have been looking for, she would be glad to meet you. You can book a session whenever you feel ready.
