In today’s fast-paced world, most of us feel stretched thin—between work, family, and the never-ending list of things to do. It’s no surprise that stress, burnout, and anxiety are showing up more often in our lives. While therapy and counselling provide one kind of support, sometimes healing requires reconnecting with our body as much as our mind.
That’s where 1-1 Online Yoga at Hibiscus Counselling comes in.

Why Online 1-1 Yoga Therapy?
Unlike group classes or YouTube videos, 1-1 sessions are completely centered around you. No distractions, no comparisons, no pressure to keep up.
Personalized Attention: Every session is tailored to your needs—whether you’re struggling with stress, postpartum recovery, sleep issues, or simply looking to feel more grounded.
Safe & Supportive: Our facilitators bring not only yoga expertise but also a counselling lens. That means we understand the emotional layers behind physical stress and design sessions that care for both.
Convenience: Online sessions mean you can practice from the comfort of your home, making it easier to stay consistent even on busy days.
How Does Yoga Support Mental Health?
At Hibiscus, we don’t treat yoga as just exercise. We see it as a mind-body practice for:
Reducing anxiety and calming the nervous system.
Supporting emotional regulation and resilience.
Releasing stress stored in the body.
Helping you reconnect with yourself when life feels overwhelming.
Science backs this too—studies show yoga can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, improve focus, and increase overall well-being.
What Happens in a Session?
A typical 45-minute session includes:
Gentle grounding (breathwork, mindfulness to arrive in the moment)
Personalized flow (movements suited to your energy and comfort)
Integration (take-home practices like stretches, breathing, or relaxation)
Each session is designed not for performance, but for balance and clarity.
Who Is This For?
1-1 Online Yoga Therapy for Mental Health is especially helpful for:
Professionals experiencing stress or burnout.
Women navigating transitions (postpartum, midlife).
Students managing academic pressure.
Anyone looking to feel calmer, lighter, and more present.
About Our Facilitator
Our sessions are led by Nivedha, who is trained at Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram, Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, and the Bihar School of Yoga.

She is also a trained family counsellor, which means she brings a unique integration of yoga and mental health to every session.
Yoga isn’t about bending into the perfect pose. It’s about finding space for yourself—to breathe, release, and reconnect.
If you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to start, this is your sign. Therapy helps the mind. Yoga helps the body. At Hibiscus Counselling, we bring them together to help you.
